               Fresher’s welcome is one of the most anticipated events in any college. The Fresher’s welcome 2016 of Electrical engineering department was indeed a memorable one. A lot of planning ,preparation and hard work was put in , to  make the fresher’s welcome a gala event  . The 2nd year students under the guidance of the faculty members, EES committee members and the 3rd year students did a great job hosting our new-comers.

The Masters of ceremony were Ankita and Lee Yang. The fun day began with a spellbinding speech from Prof.Jayanta B.Basu, our  HOD followed by a welcome speech from Susmita Guha Sarkar, Class representative of 2nd year . A welcome song was sung by Subhomoy along with Kunzang and Siddharth of 2nd year  which made our fresher's little less anxious. Then a group of Seniors including Projoy, saurav,pritambar,aishika,saikat and sameer put forward  a skit to encaptivate everyone attention.  After which Debjyoti collaborated with Rosika to perform a song which reverberated the entire hall. 

Then the freshers that were short- listed before hand were called forward to introduce themselves to break the ice. After a round of questionnaire,   Sahil Rai and Anuska were declared as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher respectively.

The Fresher’s Welcome VITAJTE 3.0

Vanue: A P J Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall,

                The Fresher’s welcome 2017 was the most encouragement event in our college and for every college. The VITAJTE 3.0 of Electrical Department was an enjoyable and memorable day. This event has become a very interesting event with the help of every student and our respective teachers in our department of Electrical Engineering. Thank you our respective teachers, EES members and the 3rd year students, under whom we have done our event successfully. Our 2nd year students have shown great care and affection for new comers.

The VITAJTE 3.0 was hosted by 2nd year student Sayantani and Sayani. ON this event our respective HOD Prof.Jayanta B.Basu gives us a nice and encouraging speech. Some welcome song was sung by our 2nd year students Basu,Vedant,Sahil,Dipu,Binit which made our fresher's little amusing. After then a candid song was sung by Sahil. Then a lovely song was sung by Priyanka with a 3rd year student Debjyoti which  reverberated the entire hall. After then Debjyoti de 3rd year student played a song with flute. After the completion of the seniors performance, juniors played a group song and played a skit to captivate everyone attention.
